Imagine Financial Peace

Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University
is coming back to New Life!

Imagine aligning yourself with Biblical principles for a sense of protection, destiny,
control, confidence and a future on where you’re going with your money and your life.

Imagine telling your money what to do and achieving Financial Peace.

Romans 12:2 says, “Be not conformed to this world.”
Dave Ramsey says, “Don’t be normal.  Normal is broke.”
Classes begin February 26th

Simply Giving®  program is available!

If you love the feeling of dropping your pledge into the plate each Sunday, our new system of delivering your envelopes by mail is perfect.

If you prefer, however, you can have your pledge deposited to the church electronically through a program in cooperation with our friends at Thrivent Financial for Lutherans and administered by Vanco Services, LLC. It is called Simply Giving.

Simply Giving means you never have to worry about whether your offering check makes it out of the kitchen on Sunday. When you are on vacation or away on business, Simply Giving keeps your pledge up to date while you are gone. You’ll never wonder if you missed a Sunday or worry about making it up, it happens a predictably as the rising of the sun.

Both our members and the church benefit with this program. For those who choose to participate, automatically withdrawing the pledged or specified amount from your bank account is truly giving the Biblical "first-fruits." The program allows you to reach your annual stewardship goals without having to play catch up. For the church, the advantages are consistent, predictable income. This will help avoid the "summer slump".

All you need to do is complete the enrollment form (Updated for 2011) and turn it into the church office. We’ll take care of the rest! You can change your donation in any way at any time simply by submitting another form. You can get assistance and answers to questions by calling the church office at 630-759-7636.

Join a Small Group Bible Study!

bullet Check out "Daily Discipleship" - an online lectionary Bible study. The study is designed for use with small groups as well as personal devotions. Gather in groups of two to seven people and explore each Sunday's lesson. Come prepared for worship. Or, meet after you have heard the Sunday sermon to ponder the text. Reflect on the text with a spouse, family member, friend or others. Meet, discuss, and explore how to follow Christ daily.

Please contact the Church Office if you are interested in joining these or any of the other ongoing small group bible studies.
